Next week, from February 16th to 21st, Teulada Moraira will celebrate the parties Carnival 2023 with a wide-ranging program of events. These activities have been jointly organized by the Moraira Cap d'Or Neighborhood Association and the Moraira 2023 Festival Committee, in collaboration with the Moraira Housewives Association and the Municipality of Teulada.
Thus, the events planned for Carnival are the following:
Thursday February 16
- 15:30 p.m. Costume parade of the students of the Sant Vicent Ferrer school in Teulada. The route will go from the school, passing through Avda. Joventut, Avda. Santa Caterina, Plaza de la Constitución, C/Sant Joan, C/Sant Vicent, C/Altea, C/Clementina Bertomeu and, finally, back to the school.
Saturday February 18
- From 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Children's workshop 'Els Rastres' (making the strips of cans and history of 'Els Rastres') at the headquarters of the Moraira Cap D'or Neighborhood Council.
- 12:15 h. Collection of the Rastres to leave via C/ Warehouses, C/ Playa, C/ Porche, C/ Mar, C/ Castillo and C/ Barranquet.
- From 16:30 p.m. to 18:30 p.m. Activities in the Plaza de la Constitución de Teulada: bubble workshop, mini-disco enlivened with children's characters, balloon twisting workshop and face painting workshop. Chocolate, bamba and coca maría will be distributed among the attendees.
Sunday February 19
- 12:00 pm. Costume parade accompanied by the Bataclán brass band. Route: Avenida del Portet, Fortí, C/ Denia, C/ Juan XIII, Avda. del Portet, C/ Doctor Calatayud, C/ Mar, C/ Castillo and Plaza de la Sort. Afterwards, enjoy a communal meal in Plaza de la Sort, organized by the Virgen de los Desamparados Moraira 2023 Festival Committee. Sandwiches and drinks will be available at affordable prices. The music Live. There will also be three prizes: for best costume, funniest costume, and most original costume.
Tuesday February 21
- From 15:00 p.m. to 16:30 p.m. Costume parade for the students of the Cap D'or school in Moraira. The route will go from the school, passing through Ctra. Moraira a Teulada, C/ Calatayud, Avda. de Madrid, Ctra. Moraira Calp and Ctra. Moraira a Teulada to the main door of the school. The Teulada City Council encourages residents and visitors to participate next weekend in the Carnival 2023 festivities, a time to have fun, dress up and enjoy the activities with friends and family.
