Journalist

Local journalism, editorial management, and digital communication

Experience: 5 years

Education Degree in Journalism, Universitat Jaume I

A graduate in Journalism from Universitat Jaume I, my academic background is complemented by technical training in Lighting, Image Capture, and Processing. Early in my career, I honed my visual skills through an internship with a renowned local photographer, while my university years were marked by radio, where I worked as an announcer and content manager for the university's station. Later, I expanded my expertise in corporate communications at a children's furniture brand, where I managed the brand narrative for both blog posts and audiovisual content, combining strategic writing with video production.

My career at Grupo Avantcem began as a support staff member in the editorial department of the newspapers Dénia.com, Xàbia.com, and LaMarinaAlta.com, a period I combined with work as a copywriter and writer specializing in local businesses. Later, I assumed my current role as head of editorial content for LaMarinaAlta.com. In this position, I coordinate the news coverage of the regional publication, ensuring that accuracy and digital strategy go hand in hand.

As a journalist focused on the realities of the 33 municipalities of the Marina Alta region, I see my work as a commitment to giving voice to stories that define the identity of our area and others that convey the most immediate events happening in our towns and villages on a daily basis. I identify with data journalism and applied local research, transforming figures and events into valuable information that allows citizens to gain a deeper understanding of the environment in which they live. My goal is for each article to be a useful piece that strengthens the social and cultural fabric of our territory.
