The Director General of Social and Healthcare Management, José Vicente Anaya, announced this morning in Calp that the municipality has been chosen, along with Benigànim (Valencia) and l'Alcora (Castellón), as one of the three pilot municipalities for the implementation of the computer system History Single Social Services. This project, with an investment of over 4 million euros, seeks to integrate health and social services records into a single digital space, improving citizen services and reducing bureaucracy.
The system, which should be operational throughout the Valencian Community by the end of 2026, will allow the coordination of primary and social care levels to guarantee continuity and complementarity in interventions. According to Anaya, "it is the start of something very big, it will mark a before and after in the Social Services of the Valencian Community because it will allow diagnoses to be homogenized throughout the territory and achieve the most appropriate and personalized intervention."
Among its functionalities, the system will help professionals plan diagnoses, design personalized social intervention plans and develop individual care plans. It will also optimize resources, avoid repetitive tasks, allow efficient exchange of information and help detect vulnerability factors, carry out follow-ups and cross-check data. "The system will offer data to plan social policies and show the reality of the Valencian Community," added Anaya.
The project selected three pilot municipalities representative of each province and with different population ranges. The project will begin in the coming weeks. initial and continuous from the staff of the Social Services departments of these localities.
The mayor of Calp, Ana Sala, he stressed: "It will be an effort for the Department of Social Services, but it is a challenge to be pioneers in a project like this that will improve citizen care and unify diagnoses. Calp will be a benchmark in social care."
