The Calp City Council has published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Alicante the calls for the Culture and Sports Awards 2025, which will be delivered within the framework of the Sports and Culture Gala, scheduled for next November 27 in the Auditorium of the “Jaume Pastor i Fluixà” House of Culture.
Both calls aim to recognize effort, trajectory and achievements of people registered in Calp who have excelled in the fields of culture or sport during 2024, through a competitive process.
Culture Awards
The cultural call includes three categories: performing arts/musical creation and/or dance; plastic arts and design, and literary arts. Applications may be submitted by both local cultural associations registered in the Municipal Registry and independent artists. Up to five prizes will be awarded. €1.000 each, and those categories that do not have valid candidates may be left vacant.
Sports Awards
Sports awards are also divided into three categories: most outstanding player in the training category, senior category, or with other capacities. In this case, local sports clubs or independent athletes may submit applications. As with the culture awards, up to five prizes will be awarded. €1.000 each.

Deadline and submission of candidatures
The application period will be open from 30 September to October 14 2025, both inclusive. Applications must be submitted in person at the Citizen Attention Office (OAC) using the standardized SUB 20 model, accompanied by the required documentation and a responsible declaration of compliance with requirements.
The Calp City Council encourages all interested entities and individuals to participate in these calls, in order to make local talent visible and recognize it and strengthen the municipality's commitment to promoting culture and sport.
