This October 9On Valencian Community Day, various municipalities in the Marina Alta region are preparing to celebrate the holiday with a varied musical offering. However, due to the forecast of rain and the weather alert issued for Thursday, some events may be subject to modifications.
Pedreguer
In principle, the ceremonies scheduled for 10:00 and 11:00 will not take place, but the main event (reading of the minutes of the honorary awards and concert) will take place.
- October 9At 12:00 noon, concert by Tomás de los Santos on the dance floor of the Espai Cultural de Pedreguer.
Orba
- The "tardeo" and concert scheduled for October 10th at 19:00 PM in Orba has changed date. It will take place next week. October 24, in the same location (Avda. Amèriques), with a party in the afternoon, followed by a concert of Pep de la Tona, the new group of Josep Nadal, singer of the Valencian music group The Gossa Sorda.
Dénia
- This October 8, Dénia celebrates the concert of the Catalan singer Julieta at the Glorieta del País Valencia. Due to the weather forecast, the City Council is bringing forward the opening hours. DJ Fiona Onyx will start at 22:00 p.m. and Julieta will take the stage at 22:30 p.m.
Xàbia
- Xàbia had planned a concert by the singer from Pedreguer for the afternoon of October 9th Sandra MontfortThis concert is rescheduled for the Sunday October 19, when the singer will present her album The monkey at 20:00 p.m. in the Church Square.
Benissa
- Benissa has had to cancel the commemorative event for October 9th, and the performance that was scheduled to take place afterward has been postponed. Thus, the performance by the Benissa Cultural Rondalla will be moved to Sunday October 12 at 19:30 p.m., at the Centre d'Art Taller d'Ivars.
Pego
- The events and concerts of 9th October in Pego have been canceledFor this reason, neither the institutional event, nor the drawing contest awards ceremony, nor the Verger Tocant i Rodant concert will take place on Thursday. The City Council is waiting to update the dates for all of these events at a later date.
El Poble Nou de Benitatxell
The Poble Nou de Benitatxell festival will hold its October 9th program inside a tent, so no cancellations of its concerts or performances are expected.
- October 8: Event organized by the 2026 Festers. The Banda de la Abuela (Grandmother's Band) will begin at 19:00 PM and continue until 23:00 PM, followed by DJ Mesqui's set until 02:00 AM. During the event, drinks and tapas from Baret dels Bous will be available.
- October 9The Parish Choir will offer a concert at 12:30 p.m. to commemorate the festival.
Ondara
In Ondara, the Fesllengua festival, scheduled for this Wednesday, October 8, has not changed for the time being. The concert schedules are as follows:
- 18: 30 hours: The Petorro Monster. Paco Cholbi Family Show.
- 19 pm: Dani Miquel will perform with his show “Quin Guirigall”.
- 22 pm: Concert by the band “La Llavor”.
- 23 pmDJ Keyzz will close the day with a music session.
- Tickets for these concerts are priced at 10€ if purchased in advance, and 12€ box office.
