During this provincial phase, 20 spots were allocated per category to qualify for the regional tournament, and the competition kicked off with the cadet and youth categories. Despite the usual nerves in these competitions, both teams from the Calpe club defended their performance with determination and, despite some errors, managed to secure the bronze medal, finishing third in the provincial championship and thus securing their qualification for the regional tournament.
The morning continued with the younger teams, the pre-benjamin and the benjamin, who put on clean performances, without major errors and with the friendliness that characterizes the club's youngest gymnasts. The benjamin team took first place and was crowned provincial champion, while the pre-benjamin finished in third place.
The day concluded with the children's and under-12 categories, the latter being the largest in the competition. The children's team, with a five-rope routine without any falls, took home the bronze medal. The under-12s, meanwhile, placed among the top five in their category, excelling at a highly competitive level.
With these results, the Club Gimnasia Les Marines de Calp has won five provincial titles and has achieved its main objective in this competition: to qualify all the teams for the regional phase, which will be held on October 18th in XàbiaIn this phase, only 15 spots will be allocated for the Spanish Championship, which will take place in Castellón.
