Next Thursday, June 12th, the Moraira Nautical Club will be the starting point for the 2025 Regularity Trial, which will host the XXVI Spanish Championship and the XI Regional Regularity Championship, a competition aimed at boats of engine which stands out for its technical and strategic component.
Unlike other nautical events, the goal of this competition isn't to achieve maximum speed, but rather to maintain consistency and accurately meet established times along a coastal route determined by the organizers. This unique feature makes the event an accessible challenge for sailors of all ages and experience levels.
The day will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the official departure from the port of Moraira. As a preliminary step, a skippers' meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 11, at 20:30 p.m. at the Moraira Yacht Club headquarters, followed by a reception dinner for the participants.
Once the race is over, the sailors will arrive in Formentera, where a welcome cocktail reception will take place on Thursday at 21:00 p.m. The event will close on Friday, June 13th, with a dinner and trophy presentation at 21:00 p.m., to which all participants are invited.
