Improve your health while enjoying the natural environment This is the main objective of "Walk and Health", a new initiative promoted by the Pego City Council, through the Departments of Health and Sports, in collaboration with the municipality's Health Center.
The project was created with the aim of promoting regular physical activity among the population, especially among people with mild pathologies, although it is open to all citizens registered in Pego.
Adapted routes of easy difficulty
The initiative consists of a series of walking routes throughout the municipality, designed to promote the physical and emotional well-being of the participants. Routes have been established. two walking options depending on the pace and distance.
On one hand, walks of soft rhythmwith routes of approximately three kilometers. On the other hand, walks of active rhythmwith journeys of between four and five kilometers. All routes feature a easy level of difficulty, which allows for safe and tailored participation.
Small groups and professional support
Each group will have a maximum of 30 people registered and will be led by a specialized sports instructor. The activity is jointly coordinated by the Pego Town Hall and the Health Center, ensuring proper monitoring of participants.
