The Association of Inspectors of Education The Association of Teachers of the Valencian Country (ADIDE-PV) has made public its position on the indefinite strike called by teachers starting on May 11 and has urged the Ministry of Education to open "as quickly as possible" a real negotiation process with union representatives.

ADIDE-PV acknowledges an "accumulated professional discontent"
The association argues that the strike call cannot be understood solely as a disruption of educational services, but as an expression of "an accumulated professional discontent that structurally affects the entire education system".
ADIDE-PV also admits that the impact of the strike on students is a cause for concern for the Inspectorate, although it insists that precisely for this reason it is essential to address the causes that have led to this situation and not just limit itself to managing its immediate consequences.
Inspectors warn of deteriorating teaching conditions
In its analysis, the association points out that the Inspection routinely documents problems related to Staff stability, ratios, workload, and professional recognitionfactors that, they indicate, have a "direct and verifiable" impact on educational quality.
“A teaching staff in adequate conditions is a structural, not an accessory, requirement for a quality education system,” ADIDE-PV states in its press release. The organization believes that improving these conditions should be understood as a shared need by all stakeholders in the Valencian education system.
ADIDE-PV calls for agreements to prevent further damage to the education system
The inspectors' association also warns that prolonging a labor dispute of this magnitude could have direct consequences for students' right to education and the stability of the entire education system. Therefore, it demands that negotiations between the administration and unions be conducted through sustained dialogue aimed at reaching concrete agreements.
In this regard, ADIDE-PV states that "Dialogue is not one option among several: it is the only path compatible with the nature of a public service that belongs to the citizens".
Recognition of Valencian teachers
The statement concludes with explicit recognition of the teachers of the Valencian Community, whose "daily commitment" to the students, according to the association, allows the education system to be sustained even "in the most adverse circumstances."
ADIDE-PV believes that this effort deserves an institutional response "commensurate with the circumstances," in a context of maximum tension between unions and the Ministry following the failure of the latest negotiations on wages, bureaucracy and minimum services for the indefinite strike.
