The Fumiga They performed last Saturday, November 8th, in the Plaça de Bous d'Ondara as part of the Fira de Fires 2025. The group performed part of their repertoire and conveyed Messages about the DANA storm, the Valencian language and the Marina Alta region.
During the concert, The Fumiga raised her voice about the effects of the DANA and called for greater institutional commitment to the Marina Alta region. In the group's words, «Mazón's resignation is not enough"making it clear that the feeling of political abandonment remains strong among the citizens. Furthermore, they expressed their desire to return before October to another municipality in the Marina Alta regionbecause "we don't want to say goodbye to the region in 2025."
The group, known for its social activism, combined criticism with humor. In a nod to the weather that has so often played tricks on them, they joked that «On the fourth try, we finally managed to play" after several attempts were thwarted by the rain. Local politicians joined in the irony by wearing t-shirts with the slogan «Always plou when you see La Fúmiga««it always rains when La Fúmiga comes»).
A family start with Ramonets and Abril's energy
The festival began at 17 pm with children's and family rock RamonetsThe band from l'Horta, paying tribute to the legendary Ramones, performed. Their intergenerational act ignited the atmosphere in a square that gradually filled with people of all ages and from all over the region.

A night of emotion and symbolic farewell
A las 20 pm, with a green backdrop, The Fumiga She burst onto the stage to cheers. Her lead singer, ArthurVisibly moved, he recalled the essential role that Ondara has played in the history from the group: «This town and this setting are vital to us. A farewell turned into a myth
The band, which is celebrating 13 years in the business, has recently released a book with the publisher Bromera which reviews its history and its impact on Valencian music. Its legacy, a mixture of celebration, awareness and community, has made each concert an act of collective identity.
The group announced its intention to to perform in another municipality of the Marina Alta before October 2026, as part of that farewell tour.
