The Gossa Sorda has announced his return to the stage with a new tour titled «To Tornallom», almost a decade after his last performance. The announcement was made to coincide with the celebration of the Nou d'Octubre, Day of the Valencian Community.
The group's vocalist, Joseph Nadal, explained that the return responds to an emotional and collective impulse: "Everything that happened at the Dana has outraged us greatly and motivated us to return.". Although they recognize that "They don't have the capacity to save the country or the world."They want to send a clear message to the society: "We need to give a collective response, we need to stand up and take to the streets.".
From his perspective, one of the reasons that has driven the return has been the current political climate in the Valencian Community. According to Nadal, although "many times people think that everything is lost," they firmly believe that "People united and with clear ideas can change many things.".
A symbolic tour and a song with roots
The group wanted to shape this return with an artistic proposal consistent with its career. "Behind every return there is also a reason for discourse, an ideological reason.", Nadal said, stressing the importance of keeping the demand alive on stage.
One of the band's driving forces remains the indignation as a creative impulse. Although they had been considering a possible return for some time, the current context and the approaching tenth anniversary of his retirement ultimately determined the decision. The singer also expressed his gratitude for the enthusiastic response from the public and has assured that they are working intensively to offer "A new show that is as current as possible to bring traditional songs into the present.".
The tour will feature three unique dates: The April 25 in Picassent (Valencia)’s most emblematic landmarks, the May 2 in Palma (Mallorca) and the May 23 in Cunit (Tarragona)Tickets will be available starting this Saturday.

Regarding the spaces chosen for the concerts, Nadal points out that they have prioritized playing in the Valencian Country, Catalonia and the Balearic Islands, regions where they have a wide following and where Valencian is part of everyday lifeThey have also looked for venues that allow the event self-management and that are similar to the group's discourse.
