Beniarbeig was filled with music on the afternoon of Saturday, September 20th, with the celebration of the 2025 Marina Alta Band Meeting, organized by the Federation of Musical Societies of the Valencian Community (FSMCV). More than 700 musicians from more than twenty groups participated in the parade that made its way through the town's main streets.

As host, the Beniarbeig Musical Union was responsible for closing the parade, accompanied by the authorities present. Among them were the president of the regional branch of the FSMCV, Manolo Berenguer; the secretary of the federation, Lourdes Gavilà; and the mayor of Beniarbeig, Juan José Mas, along with several members of the municipal council.

The event also served to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Beniarbeig Musical Union. The institutional event, held in Plaza del 9 d'Octubre and hosted by Raül Oliver, featured several speakers. The first to speak was José Antonio Mut, who expressed his gratitude for "the work and support of the federation, the city council, and all the collaborating individuals and companies" and emphasized how emotional it is to commemorate such a long-standing institution.

Afterwards, the regional president of the FSMCV, Manolo Berenguer, highlighted "the fundamental role of music and bands in our society," while Mayor Juan José Mas closed the round of speeches by expressing his gratitude to those in attendance and recalling "the pride it brings to host such an important event for regional music."

After the institutional remarks, the commemorative pennants were presented to the flag bearers of each group. As a finale, all the bands, under the baton of José Luis Carreres Belda, performed the pasodoble in unison. The entrance, by the maestro Quintín Esquembre (Villena, 1885 – Madrid, 1965), premiered in 1925 and was the first work performed by the Unió Musical Beniarbeig.

The day concluded with a fellowship dinner and a performance by the Euforia orchestra, which brought the festive atmosphere to a gathering that once again demonstrated the strength and tradition of musical societies in the Marina Alta.
