The Teulada-Moraira Town Council has announced the temporary suspension of regulated parking in the town center of Moraira. This measure, which will be in effect from [date missing], will be in place from [date missing]. July 13 to Sunday 19 of July of 2026, both inclusive, has been adopted on the occasion of the celebration of the parties patron saint festivals. The goal is to facilitate the coexistence of the festivities with mobility on days of higher attendance.
Facilities for residents and visitors
During the specified period, residents and visitors will be able to park in regulated areas of Moraira's town center free of charge. This initiative aims to improve mobility and support the enjoyment of the town's patron saint festivities, coinciding with a period when the municipality experiences a higher influx of visitors.
The mayor of Teulada-Moraira, Raul Llobell, highlights that: «After seeing the positive reception at the Teulada patron saint festivities, we have, of course, adopted this measure during the main week of the Moraira patron saint festivities"This will allow residents and visitors to park in regulated areas free of charge between July 13 and 19, with the aim of improving mobility and supporting the enjoyment of our patron saint festivities in Moraira."
The decision to temporarily suspend regulated parking in Moraira is based on the positive reception of a similar measure during the patron saint festivities in Teulada last month. AprilOn that occasion, the suspension coincided with the closure of the VI Centenari parking lot due to the improvement works that were being carried out, and given the positive response, it has been decided to apply this same facility during the main week of the Moraira patron saint festivities.
