The municipal pilota schools and basketball The sports clubs of Ondara have announced their official sponsors for the upcoming seasons. Local company Aluminis Mestre will be the new kit sponsor for the members of the Escola Municipal de Pilota d'Ondara (Ondara Municipal Pelota School), while Ruano Energía SL will sponsor the kits for the Escola Municipal de Bàsquet d'Ondara (Ondara Municipal Basketball School).
The announcement comes after a process in which no company submitted a bid for the advertising sponsorship contract for the Sports Schools' clothing during the established deadline. Faced with this situation, Jordi Ruiz, councilor of SportsHe sought interested sponsors, securing the support of two member local businesses that will now sponsor two of the three sports schools: the one in pilota Valenciana and of basketball.
In the case of the Pilota School, «Aluminis Mestre» will appear with its brand and logo on the front of the shirts that the boys and girls of the school will wear during the next three seasons. The agreement has been signed by Jordi Ruiz and the company manager, Vicent Bisquert, at the Ondara Town Hall.
For its part, «Ruano Energía SL» will be the sponsor of the Basketball School, with its brand and logo also appearing on the front of the young athletes' shirts for the next three seasons.
Jordi Ruiz has expressed his gratitude to both Ondara companies for their support of local sport and its promotion. As for the Pilota School, it has nine federated teams with a total of 42 participants. The advertising of "Aluminis Mestre" will have a presence at a regional and provincial level, with the possibility of reaching an autonomous level.
The Basketball School is made up of ten teams, nine of which are federated, with a total of 123 participants. The advertising of "Ruano Energía" will also have visibility at the regional and provincial level, with the potential to extend to the autonomous community.
The Councillor for Sports has reminded that there is still one sports school, the football one, waiting for a sponsor. The sponsorship contract, which will last for 30 months (from January 2025 to June 2027), establishes a minimum financial contribution of 5.500 euros, to be paid in a single initial payment.
