The Department of Maintenance and Municipal Services of the Ondara City Council is carrying out the works of conditioning new toilets intended for the public attending the matches and events that are held in the Football Field of the Vicent Zaragoza Municipal Sports Centre.
This project addresses a long-standing demand, given the increase in spectators and sporting activity at the municipal facilities, with the aim of improving service and user comfort. Responding to a growing demand
The Councillor for Maintenance, Miguel Gomis, explained that the aim of this project is to improve the service and comfort of those using the sports complex. He noted that "those attending football matches had been requesting more facilities for some time, because with the increase in visitors, the existing restrooms were insufficient."
Remodeling details and accessibility
To address this need, the old changing rooms located near the football field are being renovated. The work involves a complete remodeling of the existing spaces to create new facilities directly accessible from the outside. Specifically, an area will be created with three restroom cubicles, three urinals and sinksThe other space will have a toilet. larger dimensions with a sink adapted for people with reduced mobilityWith this intervention, the football field will significantly expand the services available to the public, adding to those already existing at the facility.
