Synopsis
There are objects that have always been around us, but who designs and makes them? In some rural villages of the Marina Alta region, the plant fiber of the dwarf palm has been used for centuries in the crafts of the llata: the art of braiding palm leaves to make baskets, boats, hats, and other everyday utensils, being the engine of the economy local for decades.
A group of elderly artisans are organizing to recover their crop and pass it on to the younger generations, preventing the memory of their ancestors from disappearing.
