The Pego City Council has signed an agreement with the parish of the Assumption of Our Lady to increase and improve the promotion of the religious heritage of the municipality. This is an agreement with which the parish undertakes to keep religious buildings such as the Church of the Assumption of Our Lady open so that it can be visited. Guided tours for small groups will also be scheduled. The aim is to raise awareness of the important artistic and cultural heritage housed in the ecclesiastical buildings.
Visiting hours for the public will be from 9:30 a.m. to 13:30 p.m. and from 18:00 p.m. to 20:00 p.m.
The duration of this agreement will be one year. "This is a commitment to promoting the religious. Fortunately, Pego boasts a rich heritage, much of which even many locals are unaware. The aim is to open these spaces more to the public and showcase a part of our history. history "of our municipality," notes the Councilor for Tourism, Ricardo Sendra.

This document, with its detailed descriptions, takes visitors on a tour of the Church of the Assumption of Our Lady, the Ecce Homo Chapel, the Franciscan Convent, and the Church of the Holy Family. It also includes descriptions of the hermitages of Sant Josep, Sant Miquel, and Sant Antoni, as well as those of Sant Joan, Sant Sebastià and even the disappeared Sant Pere, which was located in the Favara area.
