Pego will celebrate World Day on September 27th. Tourism with urban routes, organized jointly with the other municipalities of the Mancomunitat de Pego i Les Valls (l'Atzúbia i Les Valls). An initiative that, under the motto chosen for this event, 'Tourism and Peace', seeks to promote the towns, highlighting their important role in the search for peace through tourism, more important than ever.
Thus, on Friday 27th, at 10:00 a.m., a route will be held to learn about the curiosities of the walled town. 'Exploring Pego: Streets and Legends'. The next day, Saturday 28th September at 11:00 am, the second of the routes will take place, 'Ebo, Living People: Stories that speak on every corner'And in the afternoon, specifically at 18:30 p.m., the route is scheduled 'Hermitages and Traditions of Pego: A walk through history', a proposal that will cover just over six kilometers to visit the hermitages of Sant Miquel, Sant Josep and Sant AntoniFinally, on Sunday, September 29th, at 10:00 AM, the visit will take place. 'Paths of HistoryDiscover l'Atzúbia, through its curiosities'.
The routes are free and of low difficulty. Places are limited, so prior and mandatory registration is required at the website.
The Department of Tourism reminds us that the Canelobres cave in l'Atzúbia will also be open on Sundays 22 and 29 from 12:00 to 14:00. «Guided tours will be held every half hour and it is recommended to book in advance.»
