The call for grant applications for the renovation of auxiliary consulting rooms in the Valencian Community is now open.

The Ministry of Health has announced the opening of the call for applications aid to the municipalities of the Valencian Community to carry out renovation and adaptation works in auxiliary clinics to meet the current needs of the population. The call for applications for these grants, planned for the fiscal years 2026 y 2027, has already been published in the DOGV, and the interested municipalities have a month to apply for the grants from the date of publication. Details of the call

The purpose of this funding is to provide local authorities with financing for architectural interventions in municipally owned healthcare facilities. This will improve healthcare infrastructure and, consequently, the quality of care provided. Architectural intervention is defined as any renovation, repair, restoration, rehabilitation, expansion, maintenance, or conservation work on these facilities.

The maximum amount that each municipality can receive per project is 500.000 EurosIn addition, each municipal entity may submit a maximum of two projectsThe amount received will be used exclusively for the execution of the work to improve the health infrastructure.

Criteria for evaluating the state of the infrastructure

To access these grants, a series of criteria have been established to assess the condition of the infrastructure. These criteria are set out in the Resolution of April 28th 2026 and are related to the number of consultations and professionals, the adequacy of accessibility, energy efficiency and the state of the building's watertightness, among other aspects.

Beneficiaries of the previous call

In the last call, 20 town halls Municipalities in the Valencian Community benefited from these grants to carry out improvement works in their care centers. Specifically, in the province of Alicante, the municipalities of Beneixama and Benitatxell received funding.

In the province of Valencia, the municipalities of Ador, Albuixech, Almoines, Barx, Benimodo, l'Ènova, Godelleta, Sollana and Venta del Moro-Casas de Prada were beneficiaries.

For their part, in the province of Castellón, the town councils of Alcalà de Xivert, Castellfort, Xóvar, Culla-Montllat, la Serratella, la Vilavella, les Useres, Llucena del Cid and Toràs received this aid.
