Several residents reported a fire on the night of Monday, June 1st, in an area between farmland within the municipality of Sanet i Negrals. According to eyewitnesses, firefighters and Civil Guard officers were dispatched to the scene to extinguish the blaze and prevent its spread.
According to information provided by the Alicante Provincial Fire Consortium, the alert was received at 21:45hThe fire was located in the vicinity of the CV-729, a couple of kilometers from the urban center of Sanet i Negrals.
The same sources indicate that the flames affected a crop field.
Personnel from Fire Station of Dénia together with firefighters andwho arrived at the scene after receiving the emergency call. The rapid response of the teams allowed them to contain the situation in a short amount of time.
