The almost continuous rainfall of the last few hours in the northern part of the Marina Alta region has resulted in significant accumulations in its municipalities. According to data from the Valencian Association of Meteorology at 09:40 a.m., rainfall has exceeded 100 liters per square meter in several locations over the past 48 hours, reaching over 200 liters per square meter in one of them.
The l'Atzúbia Forna station recorded 241,2 l/m² of rainfall, according to AVAMET's accumulated totals over the last two days. The Valls de la Marina Alta region also saw significant rainfall. La Vall d'Ebo reached 185,2 l/m² in 48 hours, followed by Orba (181,4 l/m²) and the Sagra la Costera de la Bolata station (178 l/m²).
Below 180 l/m², rainfall has reached 173,6 l/m² in Vall de Laguar Benimaurell, 167,6 l/m² in Vall de Gallinera Benialí, and 162,3 l/m² in Pego les Verdales. The following table from AVAMET shows the most significant rainfall totals in the Marina Alta region over the last 48 hours:
